I've had this flashlight for a few years and it's a rock. I use it atleast weekly if not more. Bright enough to blood track a deer on a new moon. Battery life is great and it can take drops on cement. If it stopped working today I would of got my money's worth and would purchase another one without hesitation. Would be nice if they update the charger to USB C.

I'm a flashlight addict, or is it that I have a flashlight fetish? Heck, I dunno, but I added this flashlight to my sack o' 200+ flashlights because in a video about "the top ten flashlights in 2023" the Anker Bolder not only made the list, but the reviewer also said the Bolder was one of the few of the ten top models that tested to an honest 900 lumens (that be a bright flashlight).I was so pleased with this light bought a second one so both my e-bikes now have super bright "headlights."Tip: Although the battery appears built-in and non-removable, that's not accurate. The 18650 battery is user removable. Technique: twist open the top cap, which you do to access the micro-USB charging port. You will see a knurled cap.I had to use a pair of pliers to GENTLY twist the cap off. Doing that revealed that this light has a generic (no brand name) 18650 battery. That's a feature because that means you can take a few spare 18650 batteries with you in the SUV or on the boat and never be short on battery power. Not much else to say about the light. I did put some metal tape around the edge of the lens end. This to cover the jagged edge that's there for self-defense. I find that jagged edge more of a hindrance than anything else. I don't like that kind of edge because it is a hazard. Too easy for it to injure, for example, if it drops on to the floor and hits my dog's head, or cuts my foot open. No thank you.The beam on this light is bright and on its narrow focus throws a looooooooooooooooooooong distance. You will love that kind of performance, I guarantee. And overall, this is a quality-made light. It feels like a $100 flashlight (I know because I have a few of those).Bottom Line: I have a lot of Anker products bought over the past 15 years, including about 20 of their USB phone chargers (Highly recommend you check those out. They work very well.) So I bought this with confidence in the Anker name.Buy this flashlight guys, I bet like me, after getting your first one you will be buying another two or three.

First off, I have a vast FL collection. Can't stop buying them. Have most name brands. All types, search/rescue, tactical, focusable, multicolor, etc. Have paid $12-$300. Speaking of price, this FL has gone from $55 all the way down to $13 (by another seller other than ANKER). I paid $21 for mine but ANKER also sent me one for free to compensate me for not being 100% satisfied with their LC130, but I was though 95% happy with it and thought that was most generous of them. Good company, they really do want to make sure you are a happy customer. Anyways, the LC90 is awesome for the $21 I paid for it. Smaller head diameter than my other focusable FL, so it fits in the pocket much easier. Momentary function on the switch, so you don't have to completely turn it on just to shed light on something for a few seconds. Last mode used memory. Built in charger. You have to unscrew the rear switch cap to reveal the charging port. Between the switch cap and the charging port there is a short piece of elastic string that keeps the two together to prevent the switch cap from being misplaced. You also unscrew the charging port to reveal the battery compartment and they include the battery also! Push/pull mechanism to focus, which I prefer over the newer method manufacturers are using where you twist the head left or right. This takes longer, but the advantage of this newer method is that it will not lose its setting as easily and I think it also makes it more watertight. But the push/pull on the ANKER is snug, not too loose, not too tight, just right (heh heh😉). I compared the brightness to my more expensive, $60, focusable SUNWAYMAN T25C with 880 lm (lumens) and found that the ANKER, even though rated at 900 lm, is noticeably (not hugely noticeable) less powerful. I even put an EFEST 3300 mAh lithium IMR 18650 battery in it to help boost its performance, ( IMR's versus regular lithium get voltage to the LED faster and helps get the LED its brightest or something like that, I'm not an expert on this) and it helped, but still not brighter than the SUNWAYMAN. I put the SUNWAYMAN at its second highest setting of 480 lm and found that the ANKERs highest setting more closely matched this. So I'm going to say that the ANKER is more about 500 lm at its highest setting. But at least at 500 lm you should get about 1.5 hrs of run time (ANKER manual only states that the FL will run on a full charge for 6 hrs, which must be at lowest setting, does not specify each individual setting run time) on a full charge and 500 lm is plenty bright when your in a dark situation. I am very happy with the ANKER LC90. It has a lot of good features, even comes with a 3350 mAh battery and even though it does not seem to quite be 900 lm it is still very bright for a $20 FL. You might still be able to get it for $13 on AMAZON from a seller called "michigan mountain man". That would be a awesome deal!!
