I have a small 2 bedroom apartment for me and my 3 kids. The living room and "dining room" are a shared space so it has been hard to find a table with seating that didn't jut out towards the couch and take up what little room we had left. I also hated having chairs because it made it hard for my kids to get in and out from the table when next to each other, plus it looked cluttered to have chairs sticking out even if pushed in. I bought a 6ft table that is slightly thinner but could not find any bench seat past 50" long. Enter the Alpine Prairie Bench!! It is PERFECT. It fits all 4 of us at the table for meals together now rather than having to sit on the floor in front of the tv. And once done, it slides right underneath the table for a cleaner more organized look. This bench is REAL solid wood, not your typical ikea made materials. It was fast and easy to put together, all you had to do was screw the legs on. I had to scrounge up all of my amazon gift cards to buy it but it is totally worth the price!

I love my bench. It is sturdy and easy to put together. It looks great in the space and was totally worth the money. It was cheaper here on Amazon than at another store I looked at.

I bought this bench to go along the matching table that I purchased elsewhere. The packaging is great, it arrived undamaged and took about 15 minutes to assemble which was extremely easy. Would recommend.

It is a substantial size bench for the price. The wood is darker than I expected and the base is rough and difficult to keep clean. It is otherwise sturdy.

I love this bench, however I took off one star for something worth noting. It's slightly distressed, which I expected for the style, however there are "holes" on top of the bench that I originally thought were screw holes someone had drilled for some reason. That led me to send back the first bench that came, but when the replacement bench arrived, it had the same holes. They are fairly small, and I've come to realize they are part of the distressing on the bench. Now to what I love about the bench - the length! Nice and long for the matching Alpine Prairie Dining Table I got (which was on backorder forever). I also love the finish - not too dark and not too light....just right! And lastly, it's VERY sturdy and has a center leg support for extra stability. This is a great bench!

We bought this bench for our 6ft table and it is the perfect size!! We had lost all hope at finding a bench that wasn't 5 inches smaller on each side of the table, I read the reviews and took the chance. It was incredibly easy to put together, look maybe 15 minutes at most, arrived on time with zero damage! This bench is wood on the bottom but it does have a very similar look to the metal table we have and you really don't notice the difference. This is a very strudy and well made bench! Don't think twice, just buy!
