The aluminum toe plates simplify the setting of toe-in and toe-out. The plates fit against the outside edges of the tires by using two tape measures. It is sold separately. It measures the distance between the front and rear, between plates. The difference in tape readings is the toe setting. The deluxe plates have radiused edges, slots for narrow and wide tape measures and are 9 inches tall x 23 inches wide to work with vehicles with smaller wheel openings. Theses plates are flat and strong compared to the other cheaper garbage brands I returned on amazon, spend a few dollars more and get these.

I have fooled around with various ways to set toe, this is by far the easiest. Easy enough that you just get these out and do it, rather than contemplate doing it.I picked these because of the shape of the bend at the bottom- it looked like it would not contact the slight bulge at the bottom of the tire, increasing accuracy. This seems to be true.I got two cheap tape measures to keep with it, ones with metric markings. I find millimeters easy to deal with for this moderate level of precision. As a machinist, I think in thousandths of an inch for smaller measurements, but like mm for toe and alignment. Larger, coarser measurements, I switch back to inches...weird. use whatever with this.

Honestly it’s 2 pieces of aluminum. Nothing special. I bought these to get toe roughed in when I do suspension work. They are easy to use. I’m happy with them.

sure they came a bit scuffed up but these are tossed around in the pits at the track, so i wasnt too concerned with a few scrapes from the manufacturing process

No magnets, no measuring tapes included, cheap quality. This items should sell for $20. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.

Makes setting toe very easy. Bought 2 inexpensive tape measures to go with them. Highly recommend these to anyone wanting to check their toe-in at home. Used 4 vinyl tiles to act as slip plates.

After reviewing instructions off the internet how to use them and running string line from the rear tires to the front tires for being parallel. These plates set tight against the tires with bungee cords. Makes it a snap to adjust toein. Preparation is key to getting a accurate job done. Good price too.
