My husband wears these to go fishing all summer in Florida. They are not too hot and he can breathe right through them without fogging up his glasses. They even keep the sun off the back of his neck while snorkeling.

I had some laser work on my face from sun damage and could not be in the sun for quite some time. This covers everything! It's lightweight and breathable. I can say this as I live in Florida and was gardening in 93 degree heat and lots of humidity!

I really like these. It does a great job on protecting the whole face and neck from flying debris and the sun. Throw them into the washer with the rest of the clothes, they come out looking brand new. Would highly recommend.

Not too thick for the South Florida weather. I really appreciate the front and back of the neck coverage cause this sun always roasts me when outside

Just got it yesterday wore today for work and riding my motorcycle. Works well at taming my long hair under my helmet. Is comfortable in the southern heat of the mid-80s will caution to always hydrate when riding or doing anything outside as this will wick the sweat from you; however, will not cool you without a breeze. For the sun protection I can't say anything to that effect as I work night shift and ride dusk / dawn before the sun really comes out.Fitment is a bit different than the usual balaclava if you're used to the refrigiwear brand of balaclava or rothco for my head and size it was large enough and stretchy enough to allow removal like the flash does his hood in the show, to wear just as a neck gaiter under my shirt. Wore in a refrigerated warehouse for 9+hours and didn't have an issue. The neck portion does dip down to be worn underneath a shirt or jacket so if you're wanting something that doesn't fit underneath something don't get this. I chose this product for the images that show it going about mid to the sternum, while it doesn't go that low to me, it would cover my chest even if I was wearing a V neck shirt from Hanes. So it does it's job of being under my riding gear whether a vest or full jacket. It's breathable but warm enough I don't think I'd be against wearing it during our mild-winters. This isn't a cold weather hood, but for the humid / southeastern falls would be great.Durability is still to be tested regarding how the fabric holds up to stretching, wear and tear within industrious use. As I will not be gentle with this as I am not with most of my gear, I try to get good gear for the durability and longevity of it's use; however, at the cost I got it for if it lasts for 6 months I'd be happy with it.

I use this head covering to do a number of things as i bike the trails. It’s generous size allows it to be tucked under my tee, so no gaps exist when i am over my handlebars. The top of the covering i find very helpful to give a cushion to my helmet. The sides give sun block to the face and ears, and keeps my AirPods from falling out and being lost. The face covering of course blocks the sun and gives coronavirus protection. Looks a bit weird to some, but i see many folks with various masks on while biking - the trails are busy where i live. i have stopped using sunblock,,,which saves money and time, just pull on the face mask. Lastly, as i live in Arizona and the heat has reached 100 degrees already so now I just run water over the garment and pull it on wet.. it totally and immediately cools you down. All good!
