I have purchase over a 100 of these in the past 3 years and the china batteries only last about 6 months if I am lucky. I work for an aviation company and have a team of 50 line service technicians and we use these for marshalling aircraft. So, we use these every day and let me tell you they do not hold up. Most of them the magnets fall out of the wand and you can't charge them at that point. Or water gets into them and shorts them out. Or the battery it's self won't hold a charge. After contacting Aervoe they won't honor the warranty because I bought them on Amazon and they claim the serial numbers are old. Its a great idea with an old design that sorely needs an update. Get a better housing so, water doesn't get in. Install the batteries so, there is a one time removable tab. This way the batteries are not dead on arrival due to inventory sitting on a shelf. And finally get rid of the stupid charging cable and make it a reliable USB-C. It is so difficult to charge these and line up the tiny tabs on the charger with the tiny tabs on the wand. Sorry to go off on you Aervoe but, your company needs some tough love because this could be a great product.

Light weight, highly visible night or day and very durable. The only negative comment I can make is that the lanyard broke the first time I used it.

Where do I start. When I placed my order, I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they arrived. The packaging was secure and effective, but not frustrating to remove. From first contact, they're not bulky, nor heavy. You'll notice that they are made very well, and even though they price-point is costly, but you pay for what you get, and this is QUALITY The wand's have 5 light pattern's and the days's of having to buy endkess batteries are over, because this is magnetically charged. Worried about dropping it, the wand's have a durable plastic covering, so the odd's breaking the bulbs or cracking them will be avoided. Granted these are well made, and a little more, these are the best I've seen produced. I work in avaiation end have these for a long time.. So it pay's for itself.

Update: After using extensively for about a year I really love this.Pro's:Good quality.Bright LED's and flashlight.Handy to be able use flasher and flashlight simultaneously.Excellent size for holding while walking. (Could even use as a baton for self-defense, lol)Holds a charge well. I haven't really needed to recharge since purchasing. I typically use for walking my daughter to and from bus stop for about half an hour a day (since purchasing a couple months ago.)Con's:Rubberized buttons a bit stiff to push in cold weather, but works fine.

It is something all public safety services personnel should be issued. I plan to equip all my family members with these.

Very good bright light, strong and waterproof. Love the flash patterns and it has a very clever way of recharging using a magnet. The only negative point - which is why I gave it 4 and not 5 stars. The button is very sensitive - I like to use the second flash pattern, but often (especially when fully charged) if you press the putton twice, its skips to the third flash pattern. However, a really good light. Recommended.

I needed something to replace the cheap traffic wands used by most police departments. This one is very light, and encased in a durable plastic that keeps it from breaking when you drop it. After the first charge, I purposely left it on the 'constant on' mode to see how long the battery would last. It finally died after 2 hours. I charged it just for a few minutes then to see how long it would last if I needed it immediately after running the battery down. Again, it lasted for about 30 minutes on only a quick charge. It has a flat side where the magnet is located (also where the charger sticks to the magnet) to keep it from rolling away. I stuck it to the side of my car while completing paperwork and standing next to a traffic lane- it was visible from quite a distance and kept my hands free. I am very impressed with this product so far!
