As long as this is used as a correction collar, rather than a restraining device where it remains tight on the dog's neck throughout the walk, I can recommend this prong, training collar.The idea that the collar has a "no pull" effect over a dog is erroneous. Dogs will pull on any collar from prong, chock, martingale, flat buckle and of course body harnesses. If this collar is employed correctly - which means that the handler/trainer has to use it properly - this collar should result in a better mannered dog that will refrain from pulling. The collar is a tool, not the method.I like the black color. The quick release is a nice feature for folks like who have hand function issues.Like anything, if this is used right, you should get the results you are seeking.

Already snug around my 122lb corsos neck. Its almost just like the kind they sell at prtsmart with the clasp to open and close but this truly fits like a large. Not xl

We have had our dog for about 4 months. She was a rescue dog that had been returned to the shelter. She is a handful. You could not walk her without constantly being pulled to wherever she wanted to go. We gave this a try and it makes a night and day difference. We use a harness when we want her to just go play and have fun. We switch to this collar when its time to walk back each day on her 3 mile walk. No more pulling at all. She stays next to us once we switch to this collar. no more frustration walking her.
