Been using all the tricks to try and keep my house from heating up. This screen UV blocker works. It's very easy to feel the difference in heat in front of and behind. I used this to "shade" a concrete patio I have and it does the job. Keeps the concrete from soaking up the heat.

I’m impressed with this material! I got it to redo my solar screens over my windows. Worked great so I replaced the “regular” screen material on my patio door. Not only does it look better, but I can barely feel any of the afternoon sun penetrate the glass doors. And I live in Las Vegas where it gets really hot. I’m going to replace ALL of my screens with this stuff!

Needed 3 to replace the Slider Screens and Read a bunch of the Reviews for this SUNGUARD Screen Replacement. The very first pic posted Aug 4 2019 by Wmlipe is right on. And I did the same test of the screen with my Cell Phone when my Screens arrived. I was hoping that the Company or Amazon would have changed the wrongs in the description. THE PIC is of something you DO NOT get in your Order. That person that posted the close up view did us all a favor. What you do get is the Pet Resistant Screen, not the Pictured close-up of the double treads. Pet Resistant shows ONE THREAD going across the horizonal with double threads vertically. EXACTLY what I got and NOT THE PICTURED closeup of the double thread on both Horizonal and Vertical which will be a much stronger made screen. IF that horizonal thread breaks chances are the screen will fall apart. The Horizonal threads hold fabric tight and straight. I am a Seamstress and do know how that works. Yes I could get more technical but it isn't necessary.Bottom line is....this is inexpensive and Yes it could help with heating but the FACT is the Manufacturer/SELLER is Selling something differently that what is SHOWN in the Closeup Pic. Could be why it is less expensive if a large manufacture of this wrong SunGuard was processed and wrongly labeled. But, Honesty has failed with this one, sadly. Will I return it and go with a different manufactured product...I don't know yet. I want the screens fixed and this cheap stuff is here....Sitting on the fence for now.

Used this screen in a sliding patio door. I am very happy with it I could instantly tell a difference in the amount of sun coming thru. Air flow is not affected at all. Also as a bonus you can't see in from outside while you can see out with no problem. I will be ordering enough to do all my windows.

Great to cut out direct sunlight. Very strong, yet pliable to allow cording to hold the mesh in place while making screen.

This screen mesh was easy to install and immediately made the room darker! My wife loved it as it appeared to tint our condo windows. There is plenty for three small or two medium screens. *Don't forget the spline, measure the thickness as there are different sizes too. But if you want a clean product, good quality and a reasonable price, this is recommended. Added bonus- reduce the sunlight by about 25% and enjoy a cooler room overall!

I bought this to build screens for the South side of my house. The Texas sun is abusive in the summer as it shines through our windows, requiring the blinds and or drapes to be drawn closed on most sunny days; of which there are many down here. After doing so, we now can leave the shades open and enjoy the view to the South of our home. The solar blocking of these screens is amazing and the look is pleasing to the eye. It was very well priced and easy to work with. It has very little stretch and installs to the wooden frames with ease.
