The ADE Advanced Optics Stingray UMRD performed great right out of the box; great fit/look on my new Anderson Manufacturing Kiger-9c Pro. Would definitely suggest this to any one looking for a similar product!Jack B. In

Added this to a recent Glock build. At this price point this optic is a sure winner.

I really wanted to like this, it had all the specifications I was looking for. However, it showed up with the adjuster screws looking stripped, and what looked like Loctite residue everywhere. Figured this didn’t look good but maybe things will be OK. When I got it on the gun I could not zero because the windage adjuster was completely stuck would not move the dot at all.I almost ordered another one because I like the design so much, but I really didn’t want to deal with a company that would put something used and broken in a box and send it out as new. So, I picked a different sight that didn’t have all the features I wanted just in hopes that it was from a better company and would actually show up new.

Before: Perfect fit for my rmr mount, for my FN five seven. The only thing I missed in the prior review of the product is that there's no power off mechanism. Yet the battery life is ridiculously long, so it's not an issue. Love the built-in rear irons in case the battery dies. After: knowing what I do now, this is not the optic for me the product is broken after trying to sight in. The glass didn't break or anything, the red dot is literally stuck to the left of the barrel. Thinking 🤔 back to the first time trying it out I thought I had mounted it wrong. Plus the mount I had was trash as well, no it came broken like this and that's not cool especially when the warranty has run out. Not that'd I'd buy another one just saving you some time and wish I had my money back

Packaging was great, item looked great. Dot is a perfect circle, nice and bright. I'm optimistic about this sight. I'll update this review once I put it though its paces.
What did I buy now?

I purchased this for an aftermarket slide that was precut for RMR microdot sights. This little sight fit in the footprint with a 1/4 inch to spare. I just mounted it. So, I'll come back and update if it doesn't hold up. But so far this is what I found:Good: metal construction and simple "always on" light adjusting mode means it will be ready when you are. Also, the sight has an integrated rear iron sight. For my cut slide, the rear sight lines up with a standard height front sight.Bad: the battery is held in place by the sight being screwed down to the slide. The only thing keeping moister out is a rubber flap that "should" seal it in place. It seems like it will work. But I wish I could be more confident on the weather proofing. The ugly: the screws are way too long. Be prepared to file them down to size. I was wondering why the sight seemed loose when I first mounted it. One screw was bottoming out in the slide and the other was pressing up against my extractor rod. I had to spend a good bit of time hand filing them down to get a perfect fit.Overall, I'd say it should meet your needs for a home gun or normal EDC. If I carried professionally, I might consider a more proven system.

Not actually RMR cut and is overall a cheap piece of garbage. Beware of the mounting screws they are way too long and will mess up your ejector spring assembly and the red dot won’t move over far enough to align with your pistol sights. Save yourself the heart ache and just go buy a swamp fox or holosun
