These are really nice looking 6.5" speaker grills. They have real metal mesh covers. The bezel is ABS plastic as you would expect. These are designed to be mounted separately from the speaker. Meaning the speaker has its own screws that holds it to the surface and these grills have a separate set of screws spaced wider that the speaker mount screws. The metal mesh isn't connected to the plastic bezel which might cause some rattling issues. I would recommend mounting these with some double sided tape or a gasket. I will most likely use the 'baking soda and crazy glue method' to permanently attach the mesh to the bezels. Also included are sixteen 3/4" screws for mounting. These grills are about $8 each. That's a pretty good price for what you're getting.Definitely recommended!

I had expected the metal mesh to be attached to the plastic rim for these speaker covers, but it was not. Perhaps that's on me, but it does make it less useful to me. Otherwise, the mesh is sturdy and the coating on it is smooth and without blemish. The plastic rim looks fine and the screws to hold it in place work fine as well.

Well made, attractive and look nice when installed on your project (or in car). Came individually wrapped in a plastic baggie inside of a nice box. They should survive an Amazon paper or bubble wrap bag unless someone runs them over or steps directly on them.As always, measure your speakers as the manufacturer provides detailed measurements and different manufacturers have different hole spacing and sizing on a 4" grille.

The grills are well formed and sized for the plastic retaining ring. But they fall short. The mesh is not attached to the ring in any way. The ring does not have a recess for the mesh flange to seat in. You cannot flush mount the grill without the ring flexing, and then it looks bad. If you use this in a situation where a relief is made under where the grill will fit, then it will be fine. But most grills have the mesh imbedded into the ring or have a channel the mesh fits in.
