Decided to do major work on my son's 1999 Toyota Camry. Work involved replacing the entire suspension, exhaust system, brake system, and the oil plug in the head that always leaks as the vehicle ages. So I spend a few days doing all this work and when I am done, fire it up only to have a crazy rough idle. Vacuum leaks---I ordered the different sizes of hose required and replaced every hose n the vehicle. I prefer this hose over the standard rubber hose available at local parts stores because it is more flexible and therefore I expect it will be more resistant to cracking

If you are needing the 3/16" {5mm) ID vacuum line for an old North American vehicle ('74 Jeep cj5), it fits too loose. Don't buy it. This is METRIC tubing, not standard. It goes for almost all automotive supplies. If they give metric and standard measurements in the description, it is for metric vehicles. The standard measurement is approximate. Most of the time, it's not close enough. For the cost, I didn't bother returning it. Not worth the hassle. Beware!
