Useful in a multitude of ways, and cheap enough to throw away rather than bother cleaning them.

Used for applying contact cement. Good, not Great. Bristles fell off into project frequently. Had to pick the out getting glue on my fingers until I got a pair of latex gloves. Or silicone fingertips.

Pros: Maybe rare bristle loss, but essentially none.Cons: none noticed yet

I first used these in the 1960s as "flux brushes" for, obviously, applying flux to surfaces to be soldered. Now when I am doing sloppy hobby work with paints or goos or whatevers that are difficult if not impossible to clean out of a brush, I use a brush for one session of such work, cut off the bristles, crush the crimped ferrule 90 degrees to the crimp so the bristles fall out in the trash, and put the metal handle in the recycling.

I got these to spread glue in woodworking joints specifically those made by a festool domino. They dropped bristles everywhere and just made a mess. I returned them. No good for woodworking.
