The inline rubber section and the metal connect point were REVERSED during factory assembly and cannot be fixed without destroying the item. Product is manufacturer defective as built. Other than the assembly error, it otherwise appears well built. Had to return. This comment is applicable to our 2005 Jeep Wrangler with a dana 44 rear axle..

It turned out that I didn't need this part, but I took too long to examine the actual cause of my parking brake problem that the return deadline had passed.So, I didn't install the cable, I needed to replace the brake shoe spring and the guide cable instead. But, I did determine that the brake cable would have fit and appeared to match exactly the existing cable.The product arrived a day earlier than promised, and was exactly as advertised.If anyone wants mine, let me know and we can work something out.
