The speed e bleeders for my make and model didn’t fit these cylinders.

Functionally, it's fine as a wheel cylinder, but check the bleeder screw and dry fit before you try to finalize your install. In my case, the bleeder screw was too long and was touching the spindle. Comparing it with the original, the threads are different so I couldnt use the old one. You'll need to go to an auto parts store to find a shorter bleed screw with the different thread pitch. Not exactly a direct replacement.

Bought this wheel cylinder for my GTO because the old one was leaking. What a mistake. The old leaking cylinder worked better. The new cylinder will not bleed correctly. It just sucks air in past the seal every time, regardless if I use a vacuum bleeder, a one-way valve bleeder, or the old-fashioned 'helper pushing the pedal' method. If I kept the box, I would return it, but I'll probably have to either replace it again or rebuild it. This part is now made in China, unlike the pictures. My guess is, the bore is machined too rough to seal correctly. It should be honed smooth, but now we live in a "cost-reduced" world (means: quality-reduced). I'll update this review after I tear it apart to find out. I shouldn't have to rebuild a brand new part!I've been working on brakes my whole life, and even spent 15 years as a brake engineer, but I never had a new wheel cylinder that wouldn't bleed before. This thing is JUNK!
