Install this updated clutch fan on a 1997 GMC Sierra K1500 5.7L as I was upgrading from a six blade fan to the 11 blade fan. Seems to be quieter and disengages faster and only engages when needed to keep things cool under the hood. My main gripe is it didn't come with any bolts and a little overpriced.

I have a 1997 c2500 (since new) that’s heavy duty everything. This fan clutch says it’s heavier duty and I believe it. On the hottest days of the year, I can hear the clutch engage and eventually disengage, which is something the old one didn’t do as often. The truck just keeps on going, nice and cool. Better than stock, I’m happy with it, I’d buy it again!
