Excellent bloque disque à la pose aisée. Solide et bien visible, qualité Abus habituelle. Tout ce qu'on attend de ce genre d'accessoire. L'alarme en plus aurait été top.

Bought another one of these for a second bike. They're bomb proof! Love how burley and durable they are and look good doing it. I leave this locked to the dedicated mount (sold separately) and it never comes off the bike. Holds up perfectly to the elements!!

Ich habe mir dieses Bremsscheibenschloss 2020 für mein Motorrad gekauft, weil ich ein neues haben wollte. Im Lieferumfang war auch ein Erinnerungskabel dabei, was ich super finde, denn in der Vergangenheit hatte ich mein Schloss erst kurz vor dem Losfahren bemerkt und bin fast einmal mit Schloss losgefahren und seit ich dieses Kabel habe, vergesse ich es nie mehr!Zum Schloss nun aber: Es hat ein gutes Gewicht, wirkt wertig und sauber verarbeitet. Durch die helle gelbe Farbe des Schlosses und Kabels ist beides auch bei Dunkelheit gut zu erkennen. Für dieses solide Schloss von einer bekannten Marke, welcher ich vertraue gebe ich gerne 5 Sterne, aber auch weil ich damit sehr zufrieden bin und den Preis völlig in Ordnung finde. Dieser ist niedrig im Vergleich zu einem neuen Motorrad, daher spare ich hier nicht. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen.

I’ve had this lock for two weeks since moving my bike to NYC and this morning I came out of my apartment to find an attempt had been made to cut through the lock. Thankfully, this is a really sturdy hunk of metal, and it looks like after a quick attempt to break the lock failed and the thieves left for an easier mark.I’m not sure this would stop a truly determined thief, but I am sure a cheaper and less sturdy lock would have failed and cost me my motorcycle.

This fits my 2014 BMW RnineT. It does not fit on the rear wheel (or maybe I just haven't found a spot for it yet) but it fits on the front wheel just fine. Heavier than meets the eye and especially hard to get off. No need for an alarm because it's mostly likely to drive off thieves just because it's so sturdy. Gave it 4 stars because it does not fit my rear wheel but overall a great buy!

The lock itself is substantial. Heavy and solid. This one could not be easily broken with a pry bar like many other disc locks. It would be easier for a thief to cut the actual brake rotor than the lock.Yes, a thief could still defeat this, like any lock. But the point is to making it take longer to do and be more inconvenient for them. To deter them. This would hopefully make them move along to an easier target.There is one downside, and that is the included tether. It is much too short. It barely reaches the handlebar on my cruiser bike, and does not reach on my adv bike. The tether reminds you that the lock is there, so you don't try to ride off with it still locked. It is also a visual display for a would-be thief to know it's locked up. But to use the tether, I'm going to need to add an extension to it.

Good front brake lock for 2018 KTM Duke 390. It’s a solid block that’s easy to slip on and off the stock brake rotor with the provided key. It’s great that it also comes with a spare key, and one of them has an LED light for dark situations. Small and light enough to throw in my backpack for the duration of the ride.I wanted a rear brake lock because it is less feasible to remove the rear wheel in an attempted theft, but the rear wheel has extra structure that extends over the available openings in the stock rear brake rotor. The lock pin’s diameter is too large to fit through any of the rotor’s drilled holes. I was unable to use this lock for my rear wheel. Otherwise, works as intended.

Buen candado de abus, es el segundo que tengo y va muy bien, en este caso lo utilizo en una Yamaha MT-125 en la cual entra bien, algo justo pero entra bien, la calidad es buena y su presencia se nota de lejos. Disuade que es el principal motivo de un candado de disco, por lo demas muy contento aunque hecho en falta un bolsito el cual pueda anclar o atar en alguna parte de la moto, como ocurre con otros candados abus que si los traen, en este caso trae un bolsito pero solo para guardarlo el cual no puedes ni anclar ni atar a ninguna parte de la moto, aun asi muy contento con la compra.

Fits my bike's rear disc, however, the 'trapezoid' big holes in the disc (not round little ones in pad contact area) come in two different sizes (yes in the same disc), so every 2 smaller ones there is a slightly bigger one. That's the one where this lock fits. It takes a couple of times of locking and unlocking to spot this and then you'll just do it straight away. Can be fitted and removed with one hand. I also bought the abus carrier bracket, but didn't fit on my passenger's foot peg stays as pictured on catalog, so had to fit it in rear luggage carrier arm. It holds lock very solid, no vibration, easy to reach and out of the way.The lock on the disc leaves literally no space for it to be grinded, so if it was to be attacked the only way to do it would be making a big mess on rear disc and lock. Surely it can be done, but after having cut a cheaper lighter ones myself from my own bike after loosing the keys, I can tell this one would prove a tougher, messier and longer lasting job. Hopefully it'll be enough of a deterrent, and does give me some peace of mind when leaving bike parked in the middle of nowhere. Fingers crossed.

I've had this for several months now.The lock is extremely sturdy and has a fairly smart design. Haven't had anyone try to break it yet but compared to my other brake locks, I don't think anybody can easily get it off without having to chuck the entire rotor.The locking cylinder is incredibly smooth and I haven't had any issues with it yet. The illuminated key is a nice touch, but I don't ever use the light unless it's pitch black out. It also comes with a carrying case (which I've never actually used).I forgot to use the reminder strap one time and left it on the brake rotor. When I went to take off, the lock jammed against the caliper and I fell over. :( The lock got hit pretty hard and the plastic yellow cover got a fairly deep cut in it, but the metal was completely unscathed.
