Hooked up motor for the first time, let out a puff of smoke. Ran it for a bit seemed fine. Hooked up for a second time, let out a puff of smoke. Motor was junk.

I think remanufactured means more than getting one from a junk yard and painting in black . It still had trash under the paint. I could get it faster from Amazon than the auto parts store could get it , the only reason I didn’t send it back was I needed wipers now . I put it on and you can tell the motor is weak . The wipers struggled to get all the way to the top on the first run , the motor also doesn’t always set in the parked position. When you cut them off it might go all the way down or it might stop in the middle of the windshield. It worked but I doubt it will last long at all . If you can I definitely think it’s worth waiting to order one from your local auto parts store .

Works great, but did not have the ground tab that the original unit had so a short wire with a male spade and 1/2" eye was made to ground through factory wiring.

I've had this for 15 months, and it has never worked right. Wipers work only on fast speed - most of the time, and do not park at the bottom of the windshield. Only after warmup of the unit on a Summer day do the normal speed and intermittant action settings work. Quite unsatisfactory.

This was the perfect fit for my 1992 Dodge Spirit. It is still working well on this car. We are happy with the product and recommed it.
