Honestly, might as well have shipped these all mixed together in a bag for the good the organizer did. I recieved this with some compartments empty, and some filled to the point they were pushing the lid up. I don't think there was any way it could have been packed to prevent this, so it's not a shipping issue, it's a design issue. This could be very easily and inexpensively solved by putting the screws in individual bags, or a higher quality organizer could have been used. They could even have been packaged in a tight fitting rigid cardboard box so the plastic couldn't flex. With so many different solutions, and other reviews indicating this is a common problem, it's unacceptable that this issue isn't fixed. Sorting them is going to take ages, and really impacts the functionality and value in my opinion.

High quality, Stainless fasteners that will do the job.This is just a small assortment of fasteners, 2 different lengths for 3/8" and 3 different lengths for the 5/16" and 1/4" so you may still have to take a trip to the hardware store.The quality is excellent, the nuts spin on flawlessly.I'm very happy with them.

The screws themselves look nice. They are machined well and look good. The plastic case arrived with one of the latches broken off and the lid bulging. It's all disorganized, except for the washers which are in small bags. I think it would have been better if all the hardware was just sent in bags. The container is not good for holding all these screws.

This set has everything I need for some upcoming projects. There are more than enough for my projects, as well as many remaining for other projects. I really like that there are enough washers and nuts for the number of bolts, and that everything is corrosion resistant. All of the pieces are well made, and I tried a bunch to make sure they all fit together nicely, and they do. Also, the box is clearly labelled for each item, so it is easy to get exactly what you need, or to send my wife or kid to get some parts for me.

Giving 4 stars as the quality is subpar, but for the price, it’s an easy thing to have around. Good for small projects where you don’t fully need something overly strong. A lot of variety on the sizes and types of nuts and bolts. Good to have around for an emergency!

These are nice quality bolts and nuts. They’re not cheap stamped-out zinc that you can snap off with pliers, or worry about snapping off from tightening them “your way”.The nuts and washers fit very cleanly on the bolts without any excess friction that might require lubrication. Speaking of washers, they’re all solid, no lock washers.A word of warning for those obsessive about such things: There’s a lot here and a lot of it spilled over into adjacent compartments as a result of shipping/handling. Be prepared to spend some time sorting through and organizing.Another word of warning: The plastic case itself is overloaded with such a large number of pieces. Don’t rely on the case snaps to keep this thing closed, especially if you drop it. Use at least one large rubber band or a small bungee cord to keep the case closed. If you think you’ll never be that person who spends a chunk of their weekend fishing around for hundreds of small bolts and nuts on the floor before a small kid or pet gets to them first, trust me – you will be some day, and you will regret it!

Having a good assortment of hardware that is often used is great to have for various repairs. I often have numerous projects going and am a guy who fixes and builds a lot of things. Stainless steel hardware is expensive, and this kit is very reasonably priced considering. I just went and bought some select stainless steel hardware from the hardware store and spent close to $40 for much less hardware than is provided in this assortment kit.Glad to have a nice selection of stainless steel hardware with this kit.

This set of nuts & bolts are great to have around for small projects. I think the distribution of various sizes is good where you will not be left with too much or too little of any particular sizes and lengths. The set also comes with the appropriate allen wrenches and a small tweezer, which I think adds a nice touch to the whole set. My only gripe is with the excessive amount of oil coating all the nuts and bolts. I do understand the need to prevent rust, but these things are black "oxide" coated anyway so what's with all the oil? All and all, this set has saved the day on multiple occasions. I have been using it for all of my electrical projects, and I'm sure they are useful for many other types of projects as well.
