Biggest piece of crap!!! This is not the easiest install as it is, but when the simplest part of the install is snapping the top end into the handle, it split in half and now can no longer be used!!! This piece is essential for maintaining tension on the cable and with it broken there’s no way to maintain that tension. Now I can’t even return it. Stay away. Find another one with more flex to it. This is extremely inconvenient and it’s even more disappointing when this is supposed to be a direct replacement and has the same part# as oem.
