I bought this PTO clutch to restore a used Husqvarna LGT 2554 back to service. I have to admit that I was a little concerned the clutch wouldn't fit right, as it looks slightly different from the OEM unit I removed. I was pleasantly surprised, it fit perfectly and got my "new to me" lawn tractor back into service. I would buy this again and recommend it, so far. We will see how long it lasts.

The installation was way easier than I expected. Mowed with the new part on my Craftsman garden tractor yesterday and the new PTO clutch worked perfectly. This is way better than spending the money on your local small engine repair person. Quick and easy.

Unfortunately, they claim that it's a replacement for 179335 PTO clutch, but the connector is wrong. If it's going to be a replacement, with the wrong connector, they need to put an adapter in with it, so that it's usable. Nope, not there. Well, it's not a replacement, then. For $160, I'd expect to be able to use it right out of the box. Sorry, it's going back, and I'll get one that has the right connection for ten dollars less. And no, I'm not cutting and splicing wires on a brand new, $160 part...

I did my research and cross referenced part numbers, and this PTO clutch was a PERFECT fit. Compared to the original part, it appears to be better build quality for much less money. Super easy installation on my 27HP Briggs & Stratton Husqvarna tractor. Outstanding customer service as well!! My original order was returned by the shipper for some reason, and I placed a replacement order to avoid delays in getting my tractor working again. Suddenly my original order was routed back to me, and I now had a duplicate order. Working out the return with customer service went exceptionally well. Super pleased with my entire experience. I’ll definitely be turning to this supplier for future needs!

I ordered this clutch for my Craftsman DGS 6500. The original clutch still worked, but it was drawing so much amperage that it was melting the PTO switch. This new clutch fit perfectly and is drawing 4.5 amps. I am very happy with it and it is much less expensive than an OEM replacement.
