Bought two of these. They both work properly. Have run about 15 rolls of wire through each of them with no real issue.Make sure you cut the bent end off the wire when installing a new roll of wire to avoid jams. Only happened once so lesson learned.Tremendous time saver.

It's very low quality and flimsy. But it's getting the job done. I expect it will break within a couple of days of use, but that's a worthwhile return on investment for me. The tie wire is thin and the connections are weak, but it is useful for quickly connection a bunch of rebar. I have been using it to essentially tack everything together and then going back with a manual rebar tie tool and stronger ties to hold things together more strongly. It will only connect 2 rebars that are close together. It doesn't work on 3 and it wont connect 2 parallel bars unless they are touching. We'll see how long it will hold up. I give it 3 stars because it's a cheap, disposable tool. If that's what you're expecting, then maybe it deserves 4 stars.

Worked for about 10 minutes consistently and then turned into a dud. Don't Waste Your Time and Money!

It doesn’t get quite as tight as my thousand dollar one, but it’s worth two finishing spins for the price!

Way to many missed ties and broken knots. Not satisfied with product quality.

Bought two of these because together they were still cheaper than even the cheapest pro-level tying machine. One broke after a few hundred ties (and just out of the return window), the other one is still going strong after a few thousands ties. Might try to fix the broken one, seems like it could be a bad capacitor (turns on but then as soon as you try to use it the motor clicks then it loses power and switches itself off). Nice that it comes with 2 batteries which makes it possible to use almost continuously.Since we are literally only using this for a single foundation job (albeit a big one), I still think it made more sense than spending $1k to $2k for just one that would last a lot longer.
