These devices are billed for use in a garage. However, they looked to be ideal for hi-lighting poles, posts and the like so that vehicle operators would be less likely to hit them. They were ordered for those among other uses.The shipping winds were blowing in our direction which allowed this package to arrive overnight. Everything was in good shape.Unboxing the protectors revealed them to be brightly colored foam in reflective yellow and black just as pictured and described. They measure 15-3/4" long and right at 3" on each side. The material 9/16" thick and seems strong enough to last. In our application, they are attached to the posts using adhesive caulk and/or cable ties. They look good even in the dark. (The backsides of the protectors contains a peel-and-stick adhesive which is likely fine for smooth, indoor surfaces but this application is outdoors.)

I ordered these for a metal pole in the middle of my garage. I am starting to park my car in there, and these were great to wrap around the pole for cushioned protection against my car door if the kids decide to open it like a crazy person.
