I had read all the negative comments first, and I saw a pattern. Most complaints were about the brackets falling off the wall. Judging by the pictures, I'd say that problem was "User Error". You have to have a CLEAN, dry, no chipped paint surface to mount these brackets on!If your wall is CLEAN, you will have no problems.A "user error" on my part is that I wanted these to hold curtains that have the loops at the top. These holders will "work", but they don't really hold the rod out far enough to REALLY let the curtains slide easily. That problem is on me. I needed to measure, and read, better. I'm learning to live with it.

I love these rod holders, but 3 months later, one morning when I got up and found the curtains on the floor (and they were not heavy curtains).They said that each pair of curtain hangers could hold up to 15 pounds... From my experience, this is not true.

They seem sturdy, fit well and easy to install. I follow instruction. Wipe spot and they it stay for 24 hrs before mounting rod. So far good. They have been up now for about 2 weeks ans no problem. U still have to measure, one on it on. The adhesive is good, no crews

Just got these to hang a flag pole up horizontally. They are great! They are great! Fully adjustable to fit a regular flag pole and bigger as well as a smaller dimension rod.

We got these for a one time use for a pre-prom dinner party with a curtain backdrop. They were durable, held the curtain rod and curtains up well. However, when attempting to remove them they would not come off easily and ripped the paint and layers of dry wall off the wall. We ended up leaving them up for now until we can use a heat gun or blow dryer to possibly remove them that way. The damage has already been done by two of the hooks and will require touch up spackle and paint. Having drilled a tiny hole with the screw would have been much better than using the large adhesive backing of these hooks.
