Bought these for a 4 inch driveway drain that kept clogging up with twigs and small debris. They can be shaped to fit but as other’s have said be careful for sharp edges. They are working well. They keep the debris from entering the drain. I still need to clean the debris from the screen but it beats having to clear a clogged drain line.

Purchased to keep birds out of our drains, which it does. No concern over sizing, as it is expandable meshing just rolled in a circle basically, can fit a 2 to 5" or more round or square hole...that should be their selling point! Aluminum doesn't rust and easy to mold to drains. While I don't need sturdy, it is good quality. Considered Stainless Steel, but this aluminum exceeded our needs and probably most other folks'

It prevents leaves from entering the downspout, but instead, collects them on the surface of the gutter, creating a pile of leaves that still needs to be cleaned regularly.

It’s a cheap metal cage that keeps debris out of your downspouts. Properly installed they do exactly what they’re supposed to do. Quality is fine but I wouldn’t have minded paying a couple bucks less for such a simple and basic product.
