The product is fine the instructions are not great. You have to watch the amp you tube video. All these steps are basically the same. The difference is the price points. Fits my 2023 F150 Lariat (Rocky Ridge) perfectly.

It fit my 2019 Ford F-150 great and was easy to install. The step makes it so much easier to get in and out of the bed of the truck .

This step is a great addition to my truck and performs as intended. It is easy to extend and retract. The step is not overly complicated to install, however I do recommend using the supplied mounting bolts rather trying to use the factory ones when attaching the mounting assembly to the bumper support. I wasted a lot of time trying to make the originals work!!

As others have said, the instructions are seriously lacking. Sooo, I’m hoping to help here.The first pic, my head is resting on the back driver’s side wheel while taking pic, to give you perspective.The circled bolts are the ones to remove. I replaced the right side bolts with the ones provided with the step, for more stability.The only issue was that the large bolts on the left were torqued very tight. I’m a woman, so I wasn’t strong enough, so I improvised. I used a “cheater” pipe on my socket wrench handle & I was able to loosen them just fine.You’ll need a DEEP 7/8 socket & 1/2 shallow or deep socket.The step seems to be just perfect for my needs at a fraction of the price of the name brand. It closes up nicely under the bumper. One can hardly see it!

I have a 2021. There were extra screws in the box that had no place to go, and for some reason, they included reflective stickers for the back of my truck. There was nothing in the instructions on where the stickers were supposed to go. It was only when I looked back at the Amazon description that I saw they were installed on the truck, not the step.The step seems to work well, but took me 2 to 3 hours to install by the time I went through trial and error with different parts because the instructions are so unclear. Time will tell if this is a good purchase, but so far it looks to be what I hoped it would be.

The smaller holes drilled in the bracket for the second set of bolts do not align (off by approximately 1/2 inch). Poor quality on bracket alignment.The step itself seems good but if the bracket won’t fit well the whole unit won’t work.

Once I figured out the installation process everything went smoothly. Ended up using instruction video from Amp Research step. Other than that the product is very good, I am glad I installed it on my F150.
