I really like this but it just doesn't cover the whole ball with water when it flows. It just bothers me i feel like the whole thing should have water hitting it

After 10 months, motor no longer working. Needs cleaning due to buildup of gunk even though only filtered water is used. The paint on the plastic comes off easily…

Was in love with this fountain the first few months, with the exception of the lack of sound as other reviewers commented, but after just the months, it became a nuisance. First, the light broke. Shortly after, the water did not cover the entire ball and instead covered only portions of the ball, fully defeating the purpose of this fountain's main feature. Next, after trying multiple times to clean the pump and its components, the water chose to simply come out in ugly streaks. Thinking the texture was part of the problem, I gently sanded the ball and purchased high quality paint and smooth finish. No luck. I will not ever buy this as a gift, but I might be dumb enough to buy it again for myself so I can have three months with a beautiful fountain. 😑

Excellent on all points. Only thing to keep in mind is to watch water level on a regular basis - make sure it has enough water so motor does not get ruined - water evaporates quite often but normal of any desk fountain.

My pup is 3.5 lbs, and has a real hard time drinking water. She coughs and chokes when drinking from the water bowl. With this, she can lick water off of the ball, and no choking!Added bonus it sounds pretty without that normal hum that most water fountains have. Super quiet and I can hear the water dripping.
