Tricks fish to no end. String around the hook tends to fall apart after about 10 bites leaving you with a hook with a plastic nub around it. Suppose you could re-tie it. But, I still enjoy these flies. If I was a fish, I'd bite one too.

I haven't used them yet but these look really good and durable. Mine are more translucent with a smaller black stripe down the back. I like them even better than the version in the picture.

Scuds look good. I thought they would be larger, however, I'm not returning them. Can't wait to use them.
