The lamp I bought for next-to-nothing ($2) was so priced because it was missing the on/off turn switch. Et voilà! A couple more dollars spent and I now have a perfectly good lamp! The assorted sizes pretty much guarantee one of them will fit your missing lamp switch knob. Perfect.

I used the smallest size to replace the knob on a small, tall bedside lamp. Perfect fit. All these knobs fit the standard threaded post.

I ordered an assortment of sizes for differing lamps that needed new switches. One worker but this lamp was newer. The older lamp, the switch know didn't seem to work as well. Not sure if it had anything to do with age

They are threaded, but did not fit my lamp post. They were too small. I’m returning and looking for knobs with a larger opening.
