Purchased this and it lasted about 5 starts before it split in 2....the metal quality is very poor this looks like a good deal but the quality control is lacking.

I purchased 2 sets of 2 and on the second firing on the mower it destroyed it, so I tried 3 more times and each time the fell apart, total rubbish

These metal replacement cogs are fantastic. Tired the nylon type prior to purchasing these and they where shredded on the first engine turn over. Replaced with one of these and have not looked back!

Be careful. Metal is nice, I get it, but when gears bind up against the flywheel on a hard start, it happens, it explodes into small pieces of shrapnel! When it happened it put the it put the starter hard to shame. There’s a reason they went to nylon gears. Just saying.
