If your nipple is spinning around, or even worse yet, if your nipple is leaking, then this is what you need! The plastic on this type of fuel inlet breaks down over time (especially given the ethanol in today's gasoline) and gets brittle. This can cause the nipples to leak or even break. These work just as well as the OEM at least than half the price. To replace this, grab the inlet with a vice or pair of vice grips and twist while you are pulling. If you get lucky, the brass insert will come loose from the carburetor body along with the plastic nipple all in one piece. If you're like me, though, the plastic nipple will either pull off the brass insert or break altogether. That's cool. Just clamp down on the brass insert and twist and pull. Once you have that out, smear a dab of anaerobic sealer on the brass insert of the new inlet (or not... purely optional), line the nipple up in the direction you need it to point and, using a bench vice or a small press, slowly PRESS the inlet into the carburetor body. You do not want to BEAT it in because you can, and will, break/crack the plastic.
