Wiring was too short for my Weber Spirit ii E-310. Did not want to deal with hassle of returning item so I used wiring from old part to make it longer. Igniter works but you will have to make adjustments to make it work

You are forced to change out all the wires ad then you find the ones supplied are too short! DO NOT BUY.

SPIRIT II E310 Needed a replacement igniter. Installation was simple and took less than 5 minutes.

Despite being advertised as compatible with the Weber Spirit II E-310, it is not. I quickly discovered that the wiring is way too short to run from the igniter (positioned on the left side of the grill for the left burner) and the power box which is mounted on the far bottom right of the grill. To make things worse, the plug in leads for the cables are not compatible with the original parts that came with my Weber grill so I could not try to mix and match. I didn’t want to hassle with returning the item so I drilled holes on the other side of the grill to mount it on the left side. Once I did that everything fit. To my relief, the parts did actually work once installed. I would not recommend this for owners of the Spirit II E-310 though.

It’s a switch that when pressed stays on until fiddled with instead of snapping back to off.
