Bought to replace the broken and cheap chinese wooden handle on a head I had kicking around. I had to do a little wood removal to fit the eye but not an awful amount. Seems like a quality handle

I had to remove the stickers they put on (not a problem). Also had to remove the finish they put on the handle (that was annoying). Handle is good and strong. Comes with a wood and steel wedge. Took some carving and sanding to get a good fit (but that's with any handle). I scraped off the old finish, hit it with a torch ro darken it up a bit, and then soaked the whole thing in boiled linseed oil for a week. Came nice, and I'm happy.

I am an average size guy with average sized hands. This handle is very comfortable and easy to grip. My only critique is that I had to spend a significant amount of time working it down to fit the hammer head I installed it on.

While the hammer handle I selected had the overall correct dimensions for attaching the head and even stated it was oval - it wasn’t. It was really just a rounded corner rectangle requiring some extra preparation to get the proper shape. An easy fix that just cost me time. There than that the handle is great.

I used this to re-handle a 2lb sledge. I wanted a little longer than original and this fit the bill. After some minor sanding for fitment, I drove the included wedge home and have been enjoying my "new" hammer ever since!

Handle was a little large for the hole in the hammer head. It is a very old hammer head so I can accept that it would need a minor adjustment. Very good handle. Thank you.

This handle was easy to install without any modification. When it was complete with the wooden and steel wedges, it was solid as a rock. I could not be happier. No epoxy was needed, as there are no gaps at all.
