The colors are true vibrant red and green, not faded like other toys I have purchased. This will be a fun holiday decoration for my cockatiel's cage.

This comes simply packaged in plastic and there was no strong smells when opened. Unlike others I have tried, there are no hard bits of plastic or metal sticking out. Weird that has to be called out as a good thing . . . but there you have it. Colors are as shown. Attaches easily to the cage.The best part of this is the bell. So many bird toys are unbearably loud or sharp, this is an almost pleasant sound.

I ordered this for my African Grey Parrot.I have different perches in her cage.I've had them in her cage before and she likes to climb up and down all day long.I put this in her cage and she immediately went to it.Now she sits on it and starts whistling. She is very vocal and let's us know when she's happy and not so happy.She does like to chew ropes I put in her cage but I'm hoping it will last a few months.Like I said, I've purchased many in the past from the bird store we use here in Jersey and these perches are not cheap.The $9.99 price tag for this is very reasonable.I have it hanging from the top of her cage and it goes down to the bottom.It's very well made and Scarlet is a happy girl.Definitely recommend.

My bird loves this perch, however, the bell on the bottom is a dangerous one. He can get his claw caught in it so it has to be removed.

My parakeets are afraid of it so I’m keeping it outside cage until they get used to it. My birds are afraid of everything. Lol
