These are needle roller bearings with washers. Work as described. It's very easy to see how they work by running your fingers across them.I plan to use these on of all things, the riding lawnmower. The inside diameter may be a bit too large but I’ll find out but they still worked for what I wanted.I saw a video of a guy giving tips on how to make steering easier on a mower. Put needle roller bearings on the rods to make them turn easier. I can see how these would work very well for that and they make a world of difference in trying to turn the wheel.

Saw this hack online. Decided to go ahead and order these. When installing I discovered that Husqvarna puts nothing between the steering arm---no washers, no bearings it was steel on steel, with a little grease.Too early for me to know if this really gives me "poor man's power steering" but I do know that not having anything isn't a good way to go.Installation took all of 15 minutes. Only tools needed a screwdriver and pliers to pry off the retaining clip, and grease to lube up the bearings and other surfaces.Give 'em a try.

I loved how smooth it felt after installing these on the steering knuckle, it needed a longer m6 bolt on top because these are thicker but it was worth it!
