Getting it with the right drill bit helps! Otherwise, they work well, and they look fine. No dangerous open hooks to worry about.

I bought these for a yoga swing and they worked great. They were easy to install and offered strong support. They do not squeak so it helps when trying to relax while using the swing. Great value.

The ~1/4” drill bit that comes with is not big enough for the bolt to thread into. You really need a 3/8 bit. I made it work by expanding the start of the hole with the drill bit, but it required a lot more effort than if you have the right bit to begin with.Now that that has been said, the product is nice. I screwed it in, and was able to do pull-ups on it with 0 movement of the bolt. So I’m not worried about it holding my 1 year old’s swing.

I followed instructions (if there were any). I drilled the pilot hole and then tried to hand thread them in. They were impossible. I ended up having to use a lag bolt and basically "tap" the hole so these threads could get started. So far they are holding up, but I would be concerned with the plastic bushing.
