Yes, the boards are in there... but we (those who fixed all of the food) also surrounded them with more food! The tables ended up looking pretty dang amazing, if I do say so myself!The boards were helpful for small rolling items like grape tomatoes, blueberries, raspberries, and such. We also had food grade paper on the table so that we could place food directly on there. But the PARTY boards gave some structure and order to the table.There was a bit of red color left over where we had the raspberries, but it'll be okay. Just consider that when you place your food. You might want a liner (or bowl) under anything that could stain the wood.I love that I can use them over and over for any type of PARTY! We have a lot of parties in our community; we like to find and create ways to get together!Highly recommend!Happy Shopping!

I am hosting bridal luncheon and thought "isn't this cute!"For the trial run I put food in them after I washed them by hand and let it sit for a while. I found it to be ok. Then I cut some wax paper to line some letters and I liked that a little better, the berries stained a little with just the wood, but you can easily wipe them down. I know this may seem like a one time purchase for many, but I have several friends getting hitched, and we can reuse these since they are wood. I know I will use it for at least the next two years for bridal parties, and when that is up, I can just gift it to the next crop of ladies who are getting married. Plus, if your name is Brie you have a charcuterie board just for you!The only negative is that they are a little clunky to store, so they are wrapped in a cloth on top of my cabinet.

These 5 bamboo finished wooden charcuterie trays are perfect for an engagement or wedding or holiday /other party celebration. The largest letter R is 11.75" X 11.75" X 0.75" thick. The inset channel is @.5" deep and wide enough at spaces on each letter to hold cupcakes or fruit slices or veggies or cheeses or meats.We got these for a work holiday party. The 5 different letters are enough to put a nice selection of finger snacks on for guests to munch.

I really wanted to love these 5-piece Charcuterie Letters! They’re adorable, durable, and add a fun touch to a charcuterie table. Unfortunately, I have to give them 2 stars due to a persistent odor that transferred to the food after sitting on the boards for a while. Despite trying to clean them with salt and lemon juice, and even oiling them before use, the smell remained, making them unusable for serving. If it weren’t for the odor, I’d happily recommend them, as they’re visually perfect for any party setup. But sadly, I wouldn’t buy them again.

I ordered this for a co-worker's baby shower. It is a cute sign that added to the decorations for our event. It folds up nicely and looks elegant.

These are super cool letters with shallow divots for piling up party foods for your next get-together. I love the size as they are not huge but also not too small either. There is not a lot of groove depth, but that's ok for if you're putting out things like fruit, nuts, or candies. If your name is PAT or ART you could also spell out your name. (My family had fun thinking of other words you can make with this set.) At any rate, it is going to be fun to use for our next party to serve foods! Since they are quite flat, you can also stack them up for easy storage.
