ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED! WRONG SIZES! AS A BUYER I TAKES THE TIME TO SEARCH FOR AN ITEM AND I AM RELYING ON THE LISTING AS ALL BUYERS! THE LISTING PICTURE SHOWS 9.45 IN LENGTH x 1.14 WIDE! THE DESCRIPTION SHOWS 9.6 INCH IN LENGTH x 1.18 WIDE! ALL THESE SIZES ARE ACTUALLY WRONG! PLEASE, SEE ATTCHED PICTURE FROM THE ITEM THAT I JUST RECEIVED TODAY. THE ACTUAL LENGTH OF THESE SPRONGS ARE 9.0 INCHES IN LENGTH.MY OLD SPRINGS ARE 10 INCHES AND I WAS TRYING TO GET THE CLOSEST SIZE AND I WAS RELYING ON THIS LISTING THAT IS LISTING 9.45 INCHES! CALLED AMAZON BUT AS USUAL NO ONE CARES FOR THE TIME I SPENT AND MORE THEN THIS.

I was missing a coil spring from a forty year old attic door. Couldn’t find one long enough. So this pair of springs can be secured/hooked together and served the purpose!

This spring is unfortunately not strong enough to hold my ladder. As I installed my ladder dropped down. I had to change the old spring back.

These will be attached to a small step ladder I am building so I can access the loft in my woodshop. I was surprised of the low cost for such sturdy springs. I am very happy with these.
