I can't tell the difference between this one and the original hose that came with the vacuum. Other than the split on one end of the old hose that is. It works great. Nothing more can be said.

I really like my Dewalt shop vac. When I realized I could use my shop vac in the cleaner parts of my house by simply buying a clean hose, it improved my life! The outer diameter is slightly larger than my OEM hose, but it fits snugly and does what it's supposed to - and I can't otherwise tell the difference between this and the original!

I must preface this review view with the knowledge that I did not use this product for its intended purposes. I use this product as an extension for my dust collection system. After 3d printing a connection that attaches the hose to my dust collector hose I was able to attach the other end to my portable tools. This allowed me to use them easily and not have to drag along the large hose coming off the dust collection unit. I was not able to move about and use my lighter tools with this new light weight hose connection.The hose itself is durable and the plastic end attachments are as well. No worries about them breaking without quite a lot of force applied.The plastic connection points are also threaded so they can easily be unscrewed from the hose itself. This was a fantastic feature for me since I was using it for a separate purpose and was able to 3d print new attachments that screwed onto the hose itself.Overall I am thrilled with this product and even though I am not using it for its intended purposes I can only assume that based on its quality and construction that it would work just as well for a Dewalt Leaf Blower or Wet Dry Vac as it is working for my dust collection.

This hose appears to be better than the original from “Dewalt” and is a direct replacement. It is heavy-duty, slightly longer, able to recoil without issues and fits effortlessly. Made with quality materials, it was able to easily pick up broken concrete material, rusted nails and saw dust. I am satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend if your “Dewalt” vacuum hose needs replacement.
