The hose I received is not like the picture. It didn’t have the end to connect to the vacuum cleaner . Looks like when it was made they put two of the same ends on .

The original hose seemed to come loose quite a bit but this one seems to come loose from the inlet housing a little easier. Other than that it’s a much better hose than comes with the vacuum.

If you are looking at this item you could be like me and needing a replacement hose for a Dewalt DC500 shop vac. Dewalt no longer makes/sells the replacement hose so it must be found from a third-party source. I'm happy to report that this particular hose works for that vacuum! While it is not an exact replacement for the original, it does fit the inlet with a friction fit. The kit also includes some handy attachments that you'll need and for the price, it's quite a good value.
