I have purchased lubricants that came with needlepoint oilers off the shelf, and always wanted this type of bottle for other products I already have. These bottles are very handy. They are what I was looking for. That said, some kind of leash to keep the cap with the bottle would be very nice. Until then, be very careful where you set the cap.

made from high-quality plastic, these belong on every work bench I have. seemingly impervious to oil, silicone, alcohol. plastic cap seals tight, stays put. needle applicator accurately places less than one drop where needed, more where required. Only caution - I only store them upright, unsure if they seal tightly if stored on side. YMMV. They do make a nice gift for people would use this item.

Filled with pneumatic oil and keep one bottle with each air powered tool. Remember 1-3 drops of oil before each use.

This is what I've been looking for! Good LDPE bottles w/ lids that screw down snugly and have a needle applicator.These bottles use the standard Luer-lock needle attachment that's commonly used in the medical field.Bottles are perhaps thinner than I'd anticipated, but not detrimental at all. Just don't squeeze hard w/ thin liquids, or you'll get more than you bargained for.I'm very familiar w/ LDPE plastic, and it is a long-lasting, fairly durable material. Being as soft as the LDPE is in these bottles, I'd suggest not cranking down the lid super hard - just snug is sufficient. Over-tightening can 'stretch' the threads on the bottleneck enough to let thin liquids seep by. Just be advised.I'm also happy w/ the needle length. Many other bottle sellers have short, stubby needles. Those are just fine for many jobs, but sometimes you need to get lube into a far-back and tight spot that those shorty needles can't reach.One thing I'm not sure about is whether they will leak/seep if tipped over or upside-down. I've read reviews that say yes and some that say no. I don't intend to carry these in a range bag or toolbox; they're just going to live on my benchtop.One observation I can report is that the needle caps seem to seal well. Users of Eezox will tell you that if left out w/o a lid, the 'cleaner' fraction of Eezox will slowly evaporate, leaving a slightly thicker mix of lubricant and metal conditioner/preserver. I personally use Eezox often and extensively, and have not noticed any evaporation through these bottles when the needle cap is on.I'll be getting more of these soon.

Comes with a needle applicator that has a push on red rubber tip that stays in place. The connector to the bottle is a standard medical needle Luer-Lok, so if you have access to those you can replace the needle with any needle length or diameter that you like. The bottle is fairly easy to squeeze. It's translucent so you can see the content level. The biggest selling point about this particular bottle is that the black cap is made of a nice hard plastic, and it can be screwed down very tightly onto the bottle without stripping the threads or running over the threads, and with my use so far using the bottle as an oiler, there has been absolutely no leaking. I am using a fairly thick oil, so I can't speak to whether something very thin like a cutting fluid or penetrating oil might actually not leak. The black cap makes a quality seal with the bottle. I suspect that with the Luer-Lok needle properly in place, the red rubber cap properly in place, and the black bottle cap tighten down appropriately, this may actually be leak-proof in any position which is nice to know if it gets tipped in a tool bag.1-Year Update: Still can't say enough good about the usefulness and soundness of this design. I HAVE had bottles (with the red rubber cap on) tip over in tool bags, and no problems with leakage. The Liberty manufacturer makes this same setup in different sized bottles too. Don't waist you money on other squeeze bottles.
