I got these bags to use at my baby shower where we’re having a DIY bouquet bar for the guests. I wanted them to be able to make the bouquets at their leisure and have something to keep the flowers in water in til they got home, which could be a few hours later. These are less expensive than buying everyone their own vase or even using ziplock bags and very straightforward to use, so I think they’re perfect for my purposes.

I got 100 flower water retainers which are a transparent design; measuring at 11.8x15.7.They are perfect for DIY enthusiasts; I am making bouquets for a family occasion and using these with little water then wrapping for coloured cellophane on the outside.100 for £12.99, I can’t complain.

These are just two rolls of largish size plastic bags. They are completely plain, with no special features, no closures, no inserts or gussets. The idea is that you cover the lower part of the stems on a hand tied bunch with the bag, and then you can tie the bunch off, leaving a bagged cavity around the stems for holding water. I would imagine they would be perfectly useful for other typical uses….gathering plant materials, tidying waste materials, even storage of supplies.
