These are much easier on my shawls and sweaters than my pins and brooches, which is nice. They’re a bit gaudier than I anticipated- very shiny and high-gloss, so they’re pretty eye-catching.But they are perfectly functional and keep my shawls on my shoulders without snagging or tearing, which is nice and exactly what I was hoping for. I also like that there are five and they’re all different.

They don't "clip" to each other, they clip on your clothing. Those clips are great on thicker fabrics, but the hook and eye closure between the 2 clips come open a lot if there's no tension between the 2 clips. I put this on a cardigan and the cardigan wasn't tight on me, so it just kept coming undone. They are really nice looking so even if the cardigan came open (I had a shirt underneath), they still looked nice, but it wasn't the look I was going for. I can't imagine these would stay together on a scarf. I like them, though and will continue to try to add them to my wardrobe.

I have several beautiful shawls and needed something to keep them closed especially when it's windy out and it has been very windy out lately. These clips work well and they look good too.I've had other sweater clips that were attached by a chain but these are much better and they look much better also. They clip on to each side of the shawl and then you hook them in the middle. That makes it so much easier to take on and off. They also work great on scarves. They make a nice attachment to a scarf around your neck that you want to add a little pizzazz to.

I had been struggling to find mitten clips that have a good strong grip and look beautiful. These 5 Pieces Vintage Sweater Shawl Clip are nice and tight. These allow you to clip on to unstructured jackets or sweaters that come without buttons. Hold the jacket in place for a sleeker look and the stile match whatever I have in my closet. Love these!

These are great for creating shaping and waistlines where none exist. Also these are double end clips, not center hooks, so they don't fall open.

So the clip onto the clothing is great. Holds very well. The hook and loop attachment in the center is too small. They kept coming undone every time I moved.Measurements are accurate while the images portray them to be much larger than they are.The metal work is beautiful however. Very well done designs. I've gotten several compliments so far when I've worn them.
