I wasn't using these for their intended purpose but they are well and precisely made and they clamp to 2" diameter tubular materials beautifully. Thought the price was very reasonable too.

I used these clamps to make a rod holder on my boat. I have a ski pole that comes up out of the transom for pulling a water skier or tube. I was looking to add more rod holders but I didn’t want to do any drilling or cutting on the boat. I purchased the stainless steel three rod holder at a local marine store and the stainless hardware and the plastic cutting board and my local hardware store. The clamps were slightly larger than I needed so I cut some rubber strips and Gorilla glued them to the inside of the clamps. They fit tightly and do not slide at all. I left the handle on the cutting board so I can hang it up in my locker at the Marina when not in use. The clamps worked perfect for this application.

The convenience these provide are worth the additional expense. I couldn't find a similar product for my smaller truss system (TRUSST), but found that it's not too difficult to disassemble these and repurpose the spring latch on a clamp with a different diameter.

clamps are a little tough to close when tight but other than that they are tight and seem fairly sturdy. I will update after a year of usage.
