It's about a 20 minute procedure to replace. It's underneath the rear deck driver side. Don't have to pull the seats out but it would probably help.

2011 Taurus. Rear sensors stopped working and I got a "check rear park aid" message. It took 5 minutes to replace the speaker and it fixed the problem.

If you get a Parking Aid Default on your Taurus dash this is the replacement part needed to correct the issue. The location of this item is inside your Taurus below the rear passenger self behind your rear seats on the driver's side. On this vehicle it is carpet on others it is black plastic, even the SHO. Simple install to remove a few plastic plugs and lift up after folding the back seat backs down.Great Video: YouTube2010 Ford Taurus SHO Diagnosing rear park aid WITH forscanTIP:I also ordered the YSPAM 3 Pcs Auto Fastener Remover Trim Rivet Remover Kit to remove the plugs that need to be removed on this install. Not only does this work on the plugs, but they also are not damaged, and can be reused.
