I have a super old house that I'm remodeling. I'm one of those lazy people that will spend money on a tool if it means it can save me an hour of hassle. That being said, this tool is awesomeRather than beat the tile with a chisel and hammer all day like an idiot bought this attachment for my air hammer. Works better than I had hoped. Makes quick work of removing old tile and grout. Remember the speed is dependent on how powerful your air hammer is.Highly recommend this attachment

Great tool for removing thin set. I used a 3inch, but this one gave me a lot more coverage for removing thin set. I had to use grinder every hour to keep the point sharp. For long periods of use, you begin to notice yourself slowing down.Again great tool for the job!

So my wife decided to tear up the tile in our kitchen/dining room, she originally went to home dep, without consulting me first of course, and came back with a one half inch chisel... The length of the space is 10x30, it was ridiculous so I ordered this tool and it was a serious GAME CHANGER. What took three weeks to do do, took 20 minutes with this thing. Also, some thinset is much harder than others, after tearing up the tile we saw that whoever built our house used two different types (white 'like concrete' and gray 'very easy to take up') and this tool killed that stubborn white thinset, without damaging the slab unlike the half inch chisel.Highly recommended for taking up easy and stubborn thinset! It's still going strong and I haven't had to sharpen yet.Job DONE.Make your life easier and just buy it, don't waste your time and money at home depot.

It was OK on softer areas but where material was harder it wore down sooner than expected. Had to sharpen it several times. If thin set is hardened a smaller blade does better cutting.

I had to take off the EIFS ( DryVit ) on my concrete foundation. The compressor and this chisel made my job so much easier. By hand , this would have take me 10 years or more to do. With a hammer drill, it would have take me 2 or 3 weeks to do. With the compressor and chisel it took 15 hours.

We got this tool to help us remove thunder from tile we replaced in our kitchen. We started out chiseling away by hand. I was ready to give up ten minutes into the project. This tool ended up saving the project. We hooked it up to our air compressor and sprayed the thin set down with water and it came up MUCH easier. We did end up wearing out our small air compressor during this project so we relaxed it with a larger one and we’re able to power through the rest of the thin set in a few hours.

This was a great product. I used it to break up thinset left over from tiles we took up. I used an air hammer from harbor freight. My best advice is invest in a larger air compressor. We spent a long of time waiting for air recharge.
