How to Replace the Fuse

Safety Check: Before you begin, ensure that your Pknight dimmer is disconnected from any power source to prevent any electrical hazards.

Removing the Fuse Cover: As indicated by the red rectangle in the image. Just pull the black cover to expose the fuse.

Extracting the Old Fuse: Gently remove the damaged fuse from its holder. A fuse puller or a pair of needle-nose pliers can be very helpful for this step.

Inspection and Purchase: Note the specifications of the required fuse, which in this case is a 10A rating, with dimensions: diameter - 5mm/0.197inch, length - 20mm/0.787inch. Purchase an appropriate replacement fuse matching these specifications.

Installing the New Fuse: Insert the new fuse into the holder, and push the black cover back.

Well it is functioning as designed, however the true test will be its longevity. I need it to last at least 5 years.

I own a small event space and I have a series of lights I just kind of turn on and hope that it doesn’t suck. I figured I should up my game a bit, so I wanted to get a control switch to manage them. This was a little more than I wanted to spend, but a lot of the cheaper ones seemed to have bad reviews. I also have a very specific voltage availability so I didn’t want to push my circuits too much with the lights. When this arrived, I was pretty impressed with its weight and quality. It feels like a tank and the power cables and hanger hook are industrial strength. It is easy to use, with simple settings and the power output is quite versatile. I would make sure that you plug it directly into a GFI 110 outlet or use a high voltage extension cord if possible. I have two light/fog units that draw quite a bit of power, so they can take a bit of work to make sure they don’t impede the other lights.Overall, this is a fantastic unit and I highly recommend it.

I needed to put together a show for my community on the 4th of July. I tried to cobble together a cheap DMX relay to switch 24VAC power. The cheap switch worked fine, except it would just reset the device when switching the low-voltage AC. After a bunch of troubleshooting, there was no way to work around that behavior. So reluctantly, I bought this much more expensive solution. It worked well.I should have started with this rather than trying a DIY solution. It works well, has a DMX passthrough, and did exactly what I needed to do without any issues.

Having the 2 cords means I could plug in a 750w Source 4 into channel 1 and 3 without overloading. We use this to control Bethlehem Star Gobos for our show.

This is a versatile and reliable device for controlling stage lighting etc. It offers both RDM and DMX control options, allowing for flexible integration into different setups. The unit features four channels and the output of each of the 4 channels worked well. This is because they are each controlled in pairs independent of each other. All thanks to the dual 20a power lines. The build quality is solid and the unit seems durable. It's relatively easy to configure and use, even for someone with limited experience with DMX lighting control as I am. This is a good option for those needing a reliable and versatile dimmer pack. It works extremely well for my needs.

The RDM support is a nice touch for remote monitoring, and overall, this device is built solidly and works exactly as expected. Perfect for anyone needing reliable and flexible control over their DMX lighting setup.
