The description is incorrect because these are just a flat disc, not a cup disc. But they're well made, and super aggressive. These work great on subfloor material, and they're well priced so I still recommend.

Pros: 8 grit removes bumps and ridges fast for touching up concrete and shaping edges. Good quick shipping. You will probably want 8 grit to knock down bumps and ridges and 60 grit to polish the concrete if needed.Cons: None, these babies work like crazy and dont clog up no matter what you throw at them.

These HONGUIS 4.5 inch grinding discs run smooth, no noticeable vibration. The 24 grit is aggressive, with quick material removal. I was testing on concrete. I would not call them a cup disc, they are a flat disc by my definition. They are easy to control and leave the finish you would expect from a 24 grit disk. They do seem to wear down a bit faster then I feel a disc should. Service life may be less than I would hope for, but they do a good job. I like they have a maximum working speed of 13,500 rpm.

These grinding are made from a woven fiber substrate with an overlay of abrasive grit. The grit layer varies from 3/16” to 1/8” in order to create a rotary channel for grit and ground material to be removed from the grinding contact area. The channels are spirally arranged to allow the rotation of the disk to move the material outwards.Several reviewers have noted that these are not a cup grinding wheel. When looking at the reviews, keep in mind that there are two styles of cup wheels and this design is indeed one of those two styles. Please see the images to note the depth of this cup grinding wheel. It is also important to note that these are embedded grit disks that will not have the same life as diamond or metal grinding wheels.Overall, these wheel preform as expected for similar style wheels from other manufacturers.

Very nice. Used today and found the quality to be excellent.Kind of an odd size though. I had to really scrounge around for something that would fit and allow me to attach to my drill.

used to clean up some thin set on reused tile and did a great job and left the tile in good shape with only a little scratching on back. , makes a ton of dust so be aware and either use with a shroud or have some one use a vacuum near while grinding. durability was ok with it going through a bunch of tile with per blade/brush. not quite as good when removing from floor as the metal grinding wheel options so ill give it a 4 and would get again

They work well and seem to hold up about as good as more exspensive disks.
