Adjusting spring length
- The shorter the spring, the greater the elasticity, and is suitable for heavier vehicles.
- The longer the spring, the less elastic it is, making it suitable for lighter vehicles.
- If you often carry people, it is recommended to shorten it
Adjusting spring preload
Notice: It is very important to adjust the spring preload! The size setting will affect your riding comfort
1. After the shock absorber is installed, push the anti-collision body on the main shaft up to the bottom of the main pipe
2. Ride on the vehicle in a normal sitting posture (do not use force to move up and down)
3. Get off the car and observe the distance that the anti-collision body is pushed back, which is the spring preload
4. Normal spring preload is about 15mm
5. If the preload is insufficient (the anti-collision body is pushed back more than 15mm), use the adjusting wrench to turn downward (clockwise) to adjust to increase the spring preload. After adjustment, go back to step 2 and measure again. After adjustment, remember to fix the uppermost fixing plate tightly.
