I got the smaller 2.75mm specula - as my Otoscope is used primarily for inspecting parts and screw holes - not ears.These fit on my older Welch Allyn Otoscope and latch in place like they should.The flange of the specula is a little different - it incorporates tabs on the outer edge that allow it to latch to other styles of scope (mine uses the short slot on the inside).This leaves the small stepped flanges exposed and slightly annoying on the outside rim - not a functional problem but I wasn't expecting or used to them being there.For checking ears, they aren't "sharp" but have crisp edges and stick out - may or may not impact how you use your scope - not in the way for my use (just annoying).These are bulk packed in the box - no additional packaging - so no sleeves of tips you can leave sealed until you need the next sleeve.Overall, I'll use these but I won't buy them again - I'll try another brand - there are less expensive options, more conveniently packaged and without the extra flange and sharp bits on the edge.
