This is a great tool for removing a wheel bearing and hub assembly! I was able to remove the assembly in no time even living in the Midwest with salt on the roads.

Yes it works, yes it is very solid and strong. BUT the cut out for the slide bolt is cut in a curved cut and the slide plate is cute right angle square. Therefore the slide plate can not slide down the fixed plate. Therefore this would work great on most wheels 17" or bigger but my car has 16" and I had to use this tool plus remove 2 wheel lugs and use the old school long bolt and nut to provide added pressure to remove the wheel hub. Please product design people try your produce on more than the wheel on your 'truck' some people drive smaller cars.

I was a little unsure if this tool would do the job given that is 1/2 the price of others. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it remove a stuck wheel bearing in about 15 seconds. This tool is very well constructed of very thick steel and very durable. It also comes in a case, which is a benefit for storing tools. I wish I had found this sooner.

Used it on my 2013 ford Taurus to replace all 4 wheel bearings and worked assume, and they pulled extremely hard as well .

This type of tool is something that you only use on occasion. It's very thick metal with a power coated like finish. It's a universal tool where it fits many sizes of hubs. The description mentions discs as well but I don't think it would be useful for those. On a stuck hub it works well. You'll need to move it around the hub but it does a decent job breaking one side loose. This comes in a hard plastic case which is nice since you'll probably be storing it more than you use it.

I tried to remove a wheel hub with liquid wrench, a blow torch, and a hammer and nothing worked. This removed it in less than a minute.
