This is a modern take on an age-old weapon. Assembly is relatively easy with the exception that you have to sink the steel dart tips into the base plug so they can be used in the gun. Batteries are included for the built-in laser sight. I love the dart holders on the barrel. There are three different sizes, including dummy rounds that don't have a dart tip. In testing, the laser sight works well, and the darts stay on target. In practice, the gun is a bit scary to use when you see the velocity of the darts coming out of the barrel. This weapon is definitely not suitable for children but certainly fun for adults.

My buddies and I definitely enjoyed this blow gun game. It is good quality and is definitely fun. It is very accurate if you can hold it still lol.

Growing up my friend had one and as a kid I was always jealous. This is an amazing set! Comes with different sizes of darts and even these red plugs thay just shot as a projectile. Very cool gift idea for responsible kids or for yourself. Fun for indoors or outdoors target practice.

This works, lets start with that. I can send a dart across my garage and it will stick in the drywall.I cant just drop a dart in and go. I have to push it down a little further or it is stuck. So I am not a fan of that but it is not worth doing an exchange or anything.I will say it is not as consistently accurate as I would like but it does well for the price.Over all, it isnt perfect but it is fun.

The instructions are sparce and I had some trial and error trying to figure out the right way to put on the quivers. It also seemed like the instructions were saying to put the foam grip over the connecting plastic. It doesn't fit and I am now pretty certain that you are not supposed to put it over the connecting plastic. All of the aluminum tubes had rough cuts on the ends.At first, I was unable to blow a dart but then I found out that you have to work the plastic ends of the dart to loosen them up. Bend them and roll them between your fingers, then they shoot fine. This is my first blowgun so I'm not sure what to expect but I lean toward this being slightly overpriced for what it is and the quality. After assembly, and figuring out how to work the ends of the darts to make them softer, it seems to work good. Aiming is more difficult than I imagined as each eye gives a different target path. You have to look past the sights at your target with both eyes and aim in between your double vision of the sight, if that makes sense.

First, let me state this is not a toy and is not good for youngsters. The blowgun can launch the darts at very high speeds and the sharp points can penetrate flesh easily. Having said that, the blowgun is fairly easy to assemble. The darts, though, take some time and pliers may help speed the process up. You also need to have a safe place to use the blowgun. My home is an empty nest so my only concern is securing the safety of my cat and significant other. I have set up a TV box at the end of a hall and tape targets to it. This provides a great shooting area and is easy to control. The blowgun is fairly accurate, but it takes practice to control it so it doesn't shake when you puff. I do best when I don't blow too hard.
